What you’ll be doing
You’ll be in a client facing role, supporting Bridewell’s clients by delivering interesting Data Governance projects, whilst always maintaining strong client relationships at a senior level. Your focus will be on supporting our customers and acting as a champion for Data Governance, growing awareness and knowledge within organisations.
Specific tasks may include:

Implementing Data Governance frameworks aligned to standards such as ISO 8000, ISO 38505, etc.

Working with the leadership and sales team to respond to tenders and provide pre-sales support.

Quality Assuring other consultants work and have input into the development of Bridewell Data Governance methodologies.

You'll have the ability to shape your future at Bridewell, by staying on top of the latest developments within data privacy by attending training and conferences and supporting Senior Lead Consultants and Principal Consultants within the team.
What we’re looking for:
-
Approx. 4-6 years of professional experience and expert technical knowledge
-
Relevant certifications such as CDMP, CIMP, CDGP.

Proficient in the use of Data Governance tools
-
Practical experience of applying expert domain knowledge across a number of delivery scenarios, including but not limited to, data mapping and lineage, metadata management, embedding data quality controls, identifying control points to ensure data integrity and availability, and monitoring critical data elements.

Practical experience of developing, implementing, enforcing, and improving a Data Governance strategies, frameworks, procedures, and standards in a variety of organisations including during times of large-scale transformation.

A champion of Data Governance principles, who can grow awareness and knowledge of Data Governance within an organisation.

Practical experience of applying a range of risk management approaches, conducting risk assessments and being able to articulate risk effectively.

Practical experience of providing independent support and advice on a wide variety of Data Governance issues.

An accomplished communicator with the ability and confidence to present complex issues and influence decisions at all levels within an organisation with excellent analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Other nice to haves would include experience of:

Previous work experience with regulators or industry bodies

Working in multiple industries or sectors

Presenting at industry events

Developing solutions to address client security requirements

Supporting business development opportunities, proposal development and presentations

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
