Today, we’re bidding farewell to Scott Nicholson as he steps down from his role as Executive Director at Bridewell.
Scott joined Bridewell in 2015 and has been at the heart of Bridewell throughout its growth journey. Over the past ten years, Scott has made invaluable contributions to the business as both co-CEO and Executive Director, including building out our professional services, establishing our security operations, developing key individuals, and earning Bridewell a number of its accreditations.
The company has continued to go from strength to strength, now scaling to over 300 employees, acquiring public sector cyber security specialists Arculus in 2024, and signing an agreement with Oakley Capital and Eurazeo to create a strategic partnership with I-TRACING to build the pan-European leader in cyber security.
"With Bridewell entering the next phase of its growth journey, it felt like the right time to take a further step back from the business and step down as Executive Director. With the business performing so well over the past 18 months, and new investors coming in as part of our partnership with I-TRACING, I’m happy to be leaving Bridewell in such a strong position. While I won’t formally be part of the business going forward, I’ll still be rooting for its continued success. Looking back at what the business has achieved over the ten years I’ve been here, I’m proud to have been part of it and to have worked alongside so many talented individuals.”
“I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to Scott for all his contributions to Bridewell since he joined us back in 2015. We have had a lot of successes over the years; it has been a fantastic journey and Scott will always be a part of Bridewell. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Building on the successes we’ve had over the last 10 years, we’re in a really strong position to grow even further with a highly experienced board, fantastic leadership team and new investors coming into the business. Reflecting on how far we’ve come since Scott joined the business in 2015, I’m both grateful for his friendship and support as we have built the business to where it is today and excited to go on to build the pan European leader in cyber security.”
