Appointment of former Timico Chief Technology Officer represents significant strengthening of senior team
Independent cyber security services company, Bridewell, has appointed Martin Riley to its board as Director of Managed Security Services.
Effective from January 11, Riley will be responsible for leading the continued growth and scaling of Bridewell’s Managed Security Service (MSS) portfolio, including the company’s 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.
Riley has nearly 20 years’ experience in designing, implementing and leading on secure networking solutions across on premise, pubic, private and hybrid cloud services. A key industry figure, he has been responsible for leading secure, enterprise managed services across some of the leading companies in the UK.
Before joining Bridewell, Riley was CTO of Timico, responsible for the strategic direction and digital transformation of the business as well as service development. Prior to this, Riley was Head of Infrastructure at leading UK managed cloud services provider and integrator, Adapt where he worked closely alongside Bridewell’s Scott Nicholson in developing secure cloud services.

Riley‘s appointment is the latest in a string of new appointments for the company which has grown 75% year on year over the last two, listing at number 8 on the Thames Valley 100 Growth Index in 2020.
