With 2022 coming to an end, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the highlights of Bridewell’s 2022. It’s been an exceptional year and we’re proud of the numerous achievements that have been made across the business.
Achieving Carbon Negative Status
This year, we became the UK’s first carbon-negative cyber security firm. Through a combination of initiatives, including a switch to renewable energy, offsetting and climate projects, Bridewell went beyond traditional carbon reporting requirements in the GHG Protocol. As of today, we’ve offset 1,728 tonnes of CO2 emissions and planted over 23,000 trees.
Expanding to the US
In March of this year, we opened a new office in Houston’s Energy Corridor to better serve the needs of our existing client base in the US and work with new clients in the region.
Opening Our New SOC
With the opening of our new SOC in Wales, Bridewell has been able to drive further improvements in our Managed Security Services. Providing 24/7 security capabilities for our customers, it is our largest property investment to date and represents the next step in Bridewell’s journey to becoming a globally recognised cyber security services provider.
Awards
2022 also saw us taking home two awards!
Bridewell Won "Best Cybersecurity Company - EUROPE (Between 100 To 499 Employees)" At The Cyber Security Excellence Awards and "Santander Growing Business Of The Year: Turnover £10m – £25m" at the Growing Business Awards.
Coming Together at Our Company Days
With Bridewell’s headcount reaching 199 by the end of 2022, we were happy to see a number of new faces at our two company days this year.
Bridewell Published Our "What To Expect In 2023" Report.
To close the year off, we also launched our “Cyber Security: What to Expect in 2023” report. With insights from several of Bridewell’s cyber security experts, this whitepaper seeks to proactively anticipate what lies ahead in the coming year.
